Projects
The Community Council
of Maroni within the efforts to improve the quality of
life of the habitants has executed some embellishment
and infrastructure works.
Some of the most urgent and serious works, which
have been done, are the following: 1.
Asphalt course of two roads that lead to the beach.
2. Asphalt course of the road in the village.
3. Paving of the old village.
4. Construction of new rural roads.
5. Construction of a park behind the elementary school,
which includes green spaces, playground
where the children can play safely, and kiosks.
The Community Council continues
the efforts to make the community a modern and pleasant
place, and for this reason, it has already programmed
the following projects:
1. Exploitation of the coastal
belt of the community.
2. Forming of the plazas and roads of the village in
the old Maroni.
3. Asphalt course of the rural roads of the community.
4. Registration of the new rural roads.
